NEW Thyroid Information Workshop
Are you one of the millions who suffer from thyroid function? Fatigue, weight gain, depression, anxiety, arthritis, rising cholesterol levels, foggy thinking, inability to focus, thinning hair, skin, digestive problems, abnormal blood pressure, reduced sex drive, and heart palpitations are only some symptoms of low thyroid. Discuss how low thyroid can make any illness worse, the five things that should be measured and often are not, why a prescribed hormone may not be working, treatment options, how thyroid malfunction relates to joint aches and pains (including fibromyalgia), foods that can help or hinder, misunderstood rules for medications, environmental triggers, new recommendations, what to discuss with your doctor. NEW Stability Ball, BOSU Balance & Strength Training
Designed to engage those muscles “left out” of typical routines that soley focus on strength. Bosu and stability ball engage stabilizer muscles that are critical to balance in sports and daily living. Focus on your core and those tricky stabilizer muscles. Class consists of warm-up, instructional workout and cool down.

Zumba
Latin and international music is combined with dance to create a dynamic, exciting, and effective cardio workout. These fun and easy routines feature interval aerobic training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body.  Have an absolute blast in one exhilarating hour of calorie burning, heart racing, music pumping, and body energizing movements meant to engage and captivate for life. NEW Beginning Sun Tai Chi for Health
Tai Chi is a gentle exercise that originated in ancient China. Tai Chi has proven via scientific study to: reduce pain, & stiffness; relieve stress; improve concentration, balance, posture, hearth and lung function; lower blood pressure; enhance the flow of Qi (life energy); integrates body and mind. The program includes warm-up, cool-down, Qigong exercises, special precautions and a set of 12 movements in Sun (soon) style Tai Chi. ***Please note, Sun Tai Chi is a progressive class building upon fundamentals learned each session. Participants are encouraged to start with lesson 1 and continue rather than jump in mid course.***Instructor: Judy Kloos, advance Tai Chi instructor and wellness specialist, trained through the Arthritis Foundation and HealthWays Silver Sneakers program. Boot Camp/Strength Training
Come and get a complete heart-pumping workout in just 60 minutes. Maximize exercise time by keeping the intensity high through a combination of stregth training, flexibility and cardio all in one workout. Cougar Cub Basketball Clinic (Grades 1-4)

Learn basketball basics at this popular annual camp. Join us for quality basketball instruction.  Wear tennis shoes and sweat pants or shorts.  Work on ball handling techniques, footwork, shooting form, and more.  Instructor: Rosa Csulits. Includes drawstring bag. Location: MS gyms.

She is an adjunct professor leading continuing education and leadership development programs at the University of St. Catherine.

Learn how to set up accounts and every subject required to become a successful seller: safety, pricing, photography, titles, descriptions, policies, shipping, returns, feedback and selling strategies. Even experienced sellers will learn new skills to help understand eBay’s new “best match” search system and how it will improve sales. A detailed workbook printed by eBay Press is available for $15, and is a step-by-step guide for reference. Basic computer knowledge helpful; however we will not work on computers during class. National Archery in the Schools (NASP)Archery Club (grades 4-8)

Explore archery as a lifetime sport while developing National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) target archery skills. Learn safe techniques and practices; acquire skills related to effective communication, cooperation, rules, and respect in a group; use practice to improve skills and reach goals; rehearse good sportsmanship and gain exposure to the value of natural resources and the outdoor community. Equipment provided (Genesis Compound Bows) via the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (NASP), National Wild Turkey Federation (Struttin’ Toms Chapter), Minnesota Deer Hunters Association (Lakes Chapter), Centennial Community Services and Anoka County Youth Initiatives Grant. After School Golf Academy (grade K-5)

Have fun while learning lifelong golf skills through individually based teaching. Work on grip, stance, and swing fundamentals to the basics of the long game (drivers and irons) and short game (pitching, chipping and putting). Each child has their own rubber mat. Cougar Cheerleading Club (grades K-5)

Join Centennial High School cheerleaders after school to learn cheers, jumps, dances and simple stunts. Participants will be divided by grade level. Perform for families 4:30 pm on final session. Wear comfortable clothes and tennis shoes and bring a water bottle and snack. Instructors: Blaire Dallman, Morgan Feela, Mackenzie Crowley  Tiffany Friermuth.
